This Turtle Tail villa rental sits on a south-shore hilltop with 270-degree ocean views, designed by Mexican architect Marco Aldaco and built around a claim no other property on the island can make: the only fully private beach in Turks and Caicos. Guests consistently describe Bajacu less as a villa and more as a private resort — a destination in its own right, with winding stone staircases, curved architecture, and lush tropical gardens that give the whole hilltop a sense of arrival before you’ve even reached the door.
Six bedrooms all carry ocean views and private terraces, four with king beds and two with twin double beds, each with its own ensuite bathroom. A standout circular turret suite sits tucked away from the main house for guests who want extra separation, and the interior’s natural stone, terracotta, and dark wood carry the same organic, handcrafted feel throughout the property’s 9,330 square feet.
An infinity pool clings to the hillside where the main villa meets the view, its edges falling away toward the secluded cove below. From there, a path leads down to the private beach itself — white sand in a cobalt-blue bay, complete with its own beach house and two large cabanas, plus non-motorized watersports for kayaking and snorkeling in the cove’s fish-filled rocks. Back up top, a home cinema, home office, and full gym round out the property for downtime between beach visits, and lush, butterfly-filled gardens give younger guests plenty to explore.
Housekeeping, a butler, and a private chef are included with every stay, and guests routinely credit the on-site team — the property manager and chef in particular — as the reason repeat bookings are so common. VIP airport transfers are arranged for arrival and departure, and the fully gated property runs on a state-of-the-art security system throughout.
