Local architect Ron Shaw designed the house with a Frank Lloyd Wright-influenced hand, running it entirely on solar power — reportedly the first villa on the island to do so. Built in 2018 on just over an acre, it favors a smaller circle over a big group blowout: four bedrooms, not fourteen, for a trip built around quiet rather than crowds.
Four bedrooms sleep up to 8 guests across the villa’s three levels: a second-floor master suite with its own private terrace, three further king suites with pool and ocean views on the pool level, and a top-floor guest lounge with panoramic views over the bay. Three of the four bedrooms are furnished in king beds, with the fourth convertible to two twins, and each has its own en-suite bathroom plus a shared powder room for guests moving between the open-plan living spaces.
A heated pool anchors the pool level, its swim-up bar and sunken grill station turning the deck into the villa’s real living room. Steps away, a private stretch of beach holds its own fire pit for evenings that start poolside and end at the water’s edge, and a daybed pavilion with glass windows gives shade without losing the view. Kayaks and paddleboards are on hand for slower mornings on the bay, and the rooftop terrace catches the breeze for anyone who wants the last word on the day’s views.
A butler arrives daily at 8am to handle light housekeeping, basic meal prep, and the first cocktail of the evening, backed by a daily housekeeper and an on-call concierge and property manager for anything else the stay calls for.
