Villa Aurora: An Ambergris Cay Villa Rental Where the Details Are Handled Before You Land
Sleeps 8 | 4 Bedrooms | 4.5 Bathrooms | All-Inclusive, Ambergris Cay
The arrival at this Ambergris Cay villa rental sets the pace for the week: a 20-minute private flight from Providenciales, landing on a 5,700-foot runway on a 1,100-acre island shared with only a small number of villas, suites and bungalows. Aurora sits on a gentle rise above Columbus Beach, a single-level home angled toward the ocean and only steps from the sand. Because the island runs all-inclusive, meals, drinks and daily activities are settled long before the plane touches down.
Across roughly 3,790 square feet, four bedrooms each have their own ensuite. The primary suite pairs a king bed with a Jacuzzi tub and an outdoor shower, so the day can start or end under open sky. The second bedroom has a king and a bathroom with both shower and tub; the fourth has a king and its own outdoor shower. The third holds two twin beds that convert to a king, useful for children or friends who’d rather not share. At the centre of the house, an open-plan living and dining room runs into a fully equipped kitchen, and pocket doors slide back to erase the line between indoors and deck.
That deck is where most days settle: a heated private pool, sun loungers, and an outdoor dining table positioned for the water view, with a refrigerator restocked daily with beer, wine and soft drinks. After dark, a 300mm telescope turns the unlit island sky into the evening’s entertainment, while binoculars stay on hand for whales and seabirds by day. The tennis and pickleball courts are a short stroll, and the villa’s electric golf cart puts Calico Restaurant three minutes away, with Monck Beach and the Club House close behind. Paddleboards, kayaks, e-bikes, hiking trails and the floating Hangover Bar at Little Ambergris Cay fill the gaps. It suits a family trip, especially with the Explorers Hut Kids Club on the island, as well as a girls’ getaway or small group retreat; and with Osprey Villa next door, two families or a reunion party can take eight bedrooms side by side.
Every stay comes with a dedicated Island Host, daily housekeeping and nightly turndown, plus à la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner, snacks, premium spirits, house wine and espresso drinks, and return private air transfers from Providenciales. Guest reviews of the island consistently point to the staff: hosts who arrange birthday surprises, and a water sports team that keeps children busy snorkeling and hunting for sea stars. Spa treatments, motorised boat excursions, private chef or in-villa dining, and the reserve wine list are available at additional cost.
