Villa Mandalay
Overview
Villa Mandalay: A Long Bay Beach Villa Rental with Award-Winning Design
Sleeps 12 | 6 Bedrooms | 8 Bathrooms | Beachfront, Long Bay
This Long Bay Beach villa rental blends the polish of a boutique hotel with the privacy of a private home, a combination that’s earned it an HGTV Award, a Best Architecture honor, and a World’s Best distinction. Philippine mahogany slats spaced half an inch apart over black felt form a vaulted ceiling that reaches 20 feet at its highest point, and an indoor-outdoor bridge connects through to the master suite wing. A hidden projector tucked into the cupola and Crestron smart-home technology throughout carry the design’s attention to detail into the practical side of the stay.
Six bedrooms and suites sleep up to 12 guests, including a guest house with two additional bedroom spaces set apart from the main house, backed by 8 bathrooms across the property. It’s built for a group that wants some separation between the main house and additional guests without losing the feel of one cohesive villa.
Three pools give the property options: an unheated infinity pool as the centerpiece, a heated hot tub, and two further unheated pools scattered around the grounds, plus a beach terrace that opens straight onto Long Bay Beach. A fire pit seating area rounds out the outdoor space for evenings after the sun goes down.
A private chef is available for meals at an additional cost, backed by a villa hostess who handles concierge duties, a beach attendant, two butlers and housekeepers, and daily laundry service. Private security covers the property overnight from 6pm to 8am.
